After recent renovations, the old mansion was renamed the Ralph L. Gray Alumni Center. “The mansion was built by L.P. Buchanan in the 1920s,” Nodler said. “He got this idea of the Spanish mission style when he made a trip to Puerto Rico and liked the look.” The alumni center contains many donations and memorials such as benches, planters, a patio of alumni bricks and an outdoor fireplace.
