Bag of syringes found in Matthews Hall

A student reported a theft from his vehicle. He said he parked his car on Lot 25 at about 10:30 p.m., and when he returned at about 8 a.m., he discovered the theft.
The student said a laptop computer case containing two text books and a binder was taken.
He said his vehicle was not locked.

While changing a trash bag in Matthews Hall, Room 114, a custodian discovered a small, blue, vinyl bag at the bottom of the trash bag.
The custodian checked the vinyl bag and it contained several syringes. He notified security, and the bag was transported to the security office.
The custodian said since the vinyl bag was located at the bottom of the trash bag, it must have been put there the morning before.
