Officer temporarily fixes lock on stadium gateway

3:00 p.m.

A student contacted the Department of Public Safety in reference to a broken turn signal on her vehicle. The signal was hanging out of her vehicle and an officer checked over the rest of the vehicle for damage. There was no more damage to be seen.

9:30 a.m.

A vehicle in lot #34 backed up with another vehicle behind it. The first vehicle hit the second vehicle in the left-rear bumper with its left-rear bumper.

Sick Person

10:40 a.m.

A DPS officer was contacted to Leggett & Platt in reference to a sick person. The Joplin Fire Department was on the scene checking a student. The student had experienced pains in her chest and left arm. The Metro ambulance was called to take her to St. John’s Medical Center. She may have experienced a heart attack.

A DPS officer was checking the stadium gates when he noticed they were open, but the lock was secure. The officer noted the gate had been knocked hard enough to tear off the latch. The

officer fixed the gate temporarily. There were no suspects at the time.
