The Missouri Southern State University Choral Society Spring Concert scheduled for 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 2 in the First Community Church,15th and Connecticut Streets in Joplin has been canceled. 

The University’s University Relations and Marketing department said today that the concert will not be held due to an illness on the part of Dr. Al Carnine, the concert’s director.

The concert, at this time, has not been rescheduled.
