Accounting Trip
Thirteen students and three faculty members will travel to Italy with the accounting department May 16 – 24. Students will tour Rome, Florence and Pompeii and will present a research paper during the trip. The summer course is offered every two years
Delta Epsilon Chi
April 21 through April 24, six students with DEX represented Missouri Southern at the International Career Development Competition in Orlando, Fla.
CAB
The Campus Activities Board will hold the Spring Fling Picnic April 27 on the Oval. There will be lazer-image keychains in the Billingsly Student Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Themed Semesters
The 2007 fall semester theme will be China. The University announced the next three themes. The fall 2008 theme will be Germany, the fall of 2009 will be Canada and the fall of 2010 will be Brazil.
Former Miss America
Debra Snodgrass will perform her masters recital at 7:30 p.m. April 27 in Webster Auditorium. Snodgrass has been playing the piano for 55 years and will play selections from Chopin, Haydn, Debussy and Poulenc.
Senior Art Exhibits
Continuing this week in the Spiva Art Gallery, Southern seniors will display their portfolios in graphic and studio art. Selected to represent a wide variety of styles, the exhibits will be open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.
