The game between North-west Missouri and Fort Hays State on Saturday will be another chapter in the battle between the unstoppable force (Bearcat senior running back Xavier Omon) and the immovable object (Fort Hays run defense).

The Bearcats will have an edge in this one because of a superior pass defense and a good passing game. Fort Hays State will struggle stopping the arm of either senior Josh Matthews or junior Joel Osborn.

Fort Hays will need to find success in the passing game to have a sporting chance. Senior quarterbacks Shane Jackson and Ryne Salyer will be the keys to a Tiger victory.

Take Northwest in this one. However, don’t be terribly surprised if it is closer than it rightfully should be as this is a potential trap game for the Bearcats sandwiched in between Central last week and Washburn a week from Saturday.
