THE PARKING PROBLEM
To make up for lost parking in the construction of the health sciences building, the space to the north of Fred G. Hughes Stadium will be paved to provide approximately 100 new parking spaces.
The new parking will relocate the cross country course’s starting point by a few feet, but all the mile markers will remain unchanged.
MEETING SPACE
Ground breaking for the health sciences building is scheduled for the beginning of the spring semester. The structure was relocated to the parking lot to preserve green space on campus.
The building will include:
– an animal lab
– a dental clinic
– nursing classrooms
– lecture halls
– offices
– conference space
