Senate, holiday serenade

Last Wednesday was cold, damp and probably better spent indoors. The Student Senate put on coats and hats and went caroling at the Autumn Place independent living apartments.

Though the actions of the Senate this semester have been less than favorable, and we here at The Chart have been apt to point them out, this is the kind of positive outreach we’ve been looking for. Though there were a few prominent faces missing from the singing Senate, a good portion of the group bundled up, carpooled and sang with smiles on their faces.

So, for the first time in a long time, we’re happy to give a pat on the back to the Senate for doing something positive with their position as campus leaders.

Give us the heads up next year and we’ll come sing with you.
