The Higher Learning Commission visit is over.

Preparations have been underway for years, but in the past few months have picked up speed like a frantic student cramming for an exam.

Congratulations to us. We passed.

Now we have 10 years before it happens again.

Of course, it’s only a seven-year breather or so until we start gearing up to do it all again. There will be recommendations and the continuing implementation of projects with the touchstone of the First-Year Experience, but for now there is a chance to relax.

Missouri Southern, allow The Chart to offer our thanks to those who participated in the project. Administrators, faculty, staff and the students who served on committees – from decision makers to typists – we thank you.
