On Friday, Nov.7, the Missouri Southern Campus Activities Board (CAB) is featuring John Cassidy in Corley Auditorium at 7 p.m.

Where there are balloons, there’s a party. On Friday, Nov.7, the Missouri Southern Campus Activities Board (CAB) is featuring John Cassidy in Corley Auditorium at 7 p.m. Cassidy’s colorful balloon sculpting act includes comedy and magic.

Cassidy has been interested in balloon sculpting since he was nine. He began to master the art of balloon sculpting, even blowing up balloons with his nose!

According to JohnCassidy.com, Cassidy is a Guinness World Records celebrity who holds records for the Most Balloon Sculptures Completed in One Hour and Most Balloon Sculptures Completed in One Minute.   

According to the his website, Cassidy has made many television appearances performing his stand-up, magician, or balloon act on shows such as” Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “Martha Stewart Living,” “Live with Regis and Kelly,” “The Weakest Link,” and has been featured in “National Geographic Kids’ Magazine,” “Time,” “ Better Homes and Gardens,” and many others.

Cassidy performed for the Disney Cruise Lines, families and colleges across the United States, but he has also had the honor of performing at the White House five times, as well as other famous venues.
