The Debate: Did Kam Chancellor make the right decision?

Rejoice, Richard Sherman. Rejoice, Pete Carroll. Rejoice, Marshawn Lynch. Kam Chancellor is back.

Chancellor ended his short lived holdout on Sept. 23, as he reported to the team. And it has been a two-week nightmare for the Seattle Seahawks to start this 2015-2016 season. The Seahawks are 0-2 and have some other issues on the team. But, they’re getting their anchor back. It cannot be overlooked or dismissed how much Chancellor means to this team not just the Legion of Boom and the defense, but this Seahawks team.

“Ima go help my teammates that are understanding of my position and the ones who aren’t. God forgives all, why can’t I?” Chancellor texted ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith. “Time to help us get back to the big dance. I can address business after the season. Me and Marshawn started a mission two years ago. I can’t let my dawg down….Real talk.”

Seattle is giving up 101 yards a game on the ground. I wonder why? Seattle’s defense is ranked 17th in total defense. I wonder why? The locker room for the Seahawks allegedly, lacks some cohension amongst players and coaches. I wonder why? I think Chancellor realized sooner than later that his guys need him because the Seahawks were one more loss away from pressing the panic button.

And that button would be much louder than the 12th man.
