Way to go Money! You went out like a true champion. Who am I kidding?

Floyd “Money” Mayweather went out like a true chump. Andre Berto was your final opponent? Really? What a disgrace.

If you didn’t know, which I expect many of you not to have known, Floyd Mayweather stood toe-to-toe with Andre Berto this past weekend at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada for his final fight. Money won in convincing fashion as he retires a perfect, 49-0.

I wasn’t going to pay to watch that sparring match. Hell, I didn’t even watch the sparring match.

Now, I’m not going to put too much stock into that fight. I don’t think anyone else did. With the sport of boxing already in a free fall, we deserve better from Money. Don’t give us Berto. I expect Floyd to come out of retirement and fight at least two more matches anyway.

And no I don’t want to see Mayweahter v. Pacquiao 2. Talk about boring!

What about Amir Khan, Keith “One Time” Thurman, or Danny Garcia? Now, we’re talking. These are young guns who want to see the champ. I’d pay $100 to watch Money step in the ring with all three of those young guns.
