Country music singer and songwriter Josh Turner will be performing at Fred G. Hughes Stadium, Friday, May 2nd.
Opening for Turner will be Dawson Hallow, an American-indie-folk band based out of the Ozark Mountains in Missouri. The five-sibling band will begin performing at 5:30.
Josh Turner who is known for singles like, “Why Don’t We Just Dance” and “Long Black Train.” Began his singing career in 2001 with his debut at the Grand Ol Opry. Since then, he has won multiple awards, including songwriter of the year in both 2004 and 2006.
The concert will take place on the field at Fred G. Hughes Stadium, tickets are $40 per person for general admission. Students can receive a free ticket and faculty and staff a $5 ticket with promo codes sent in an email. Concessions and alcohol will be available for purchase during the performances.
Gates open at 4:00 p.m.
