Missouri Southern State University is hosting a “Campus Craze” event to help students find their campus community. This event will take place Thursday, Jan. 29, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Billingsly Student Center (BSC). During the event, Registered Student Organizations will line the hallways to showcase their missions.
Students have the option to check out new clubs and even sign up to be a member. This fair serves as a fun event for anyone looking to boost their resume, find a hobby, or network with peers. Missouri Southern has over 75 student organizations that range in size and purpose. Popular groups like the Campus Activities Board (CAB) will be looking for new members. For those interested in service and leadership, MSSU has Greek Life chapters and a Student Senate. There are also major specific clubs such as Women in Science.
Events like Campus Craze allow students to step outside their comfort zones and engage with the campus culture. It is important for students to join clubs and show up to discover passions and meet new people. By joining clubs “students can expand their connections at school and participate in extracurricular activities that enhance their college life,” said Grace Chang a senior at MSSU.
The Campus Craze is a great way for students to see the diverse range of organizations available. By showing up, new Lions and returning students can find their place on campus and transform their time at Missouri Southern.
For more information, students can contact the Student Activities office or visit the BSC during the event hours.
