Agee to transition to classroom
Dr. Terri Agee, senior vice president, is transitioning back into the classroom effective spring 2010.Agee said there wasn’t any one event that made the decision for her.”It seems like the right time,” Agee said. “I notified the president to make sure there is plenty of time to have a very smooth, seamless transition. It’s not like I’m packing my bags over the weekend.” But Agee said she doesn’t see the move as a step down.”It’s not been a secret, my passion is teaching,” Agee said. “I did a lot of it when I first came here, but I haven’t been able to in a while because of all of my additional duties. And I’m excited to get back to it.”I absolutely love teaching, it’s a great profession.”Agee will return to the classroom as an instructor in the School of Business next spring.
