Officer Stump of the Joplin Police Department was one of several officers standing by while members of the Westboro Baptist Church protest before the Joplin High School graduation ceremony. The Westboro church members arrived around 5:30 p.m. Saturday and were restricted to the corner of Duquesne and Newman road.
