Coach of the Year

Head Coach Robert Corn

Robert Corn

Head Coach Robert Corn leaves Missouri Southern after a magnificent career. With years of production from a program he built from the ground up, Corn has amassed a lineage that will live on long after he is gone.

In 25 years Corn compiled the most victories by any coach in Southern history, with 413 total, making him fourth all-time in the MIAA.

For Corn and this year’s squad, the season was just another in a string of successful campaigns. As the team made its way to the MIAA Championship and to the second round of the NCAA Division II Tournament, where they eventually lost to Central Missouri, the team went on to win the title.

It was a great run for a coach that truly personifies what it means to be a Lion.
