As the first week of campus life at MSSU has wrapped, you likely had the chance to set up your dorm room, get to know your roommates, buy groceries, and finish up other moving tasks. What’s next? Going to school events might be the perfect way for you to get more accustomed to MSSU and get to know the people and opportunities around you! Katelin Crain, a freshman at MSSU from Arlington, TX was eager to make new friends at MSSU and get to know the campus.
“Going to events makes all the difference in enjoying MSSU. There are so many cool opportunities and clubs here to offer, and taking advantage of them is how I was able to make new friends in just a week of being here. To anyone looking for events with a big turnout, I’d recommend CAB’s events. I really enjoyed the Glow Foam Party.”
This article is all about highlighting this week’s (August 26 – September 1) events and recruitment meetings for clubs you can attend to get into the school spirit and find your circle!

Sisters will share personal stories about loved ones who have faced the battle of Breast Cancer. We highlight our philanthropy events we put on each year. Our major events are tabling at the Pink games for Football and Basketball. At this event, we will write cards to warriors who are battling breast cancer and who are in remission.
