Plato’s Closet

With the winter months upon us winter fashions are in full force. As college students, especially men, affordable options are more appealing, but where exactly might we look for those options?

Whether you are looking for joggers, pocket tees, or the perfect pair of skinny jeans, Plato’s Closet is your destination. Located at 320 S Geneva Suite 100, Plato’s Closet buys and resells gently used brand name clothing at an affordable price.

“We [Plato’s Closet] give cash on the spot for used clothes, we are very picky and look close to make sure clothes are in good condition, and are going to sell,” says Shane Nowlin, a key holder at Plato’s Closet.

Plato’s Closet is constantly buying new fashions and often restock the store with back stocked trends. Plato’s Closet also sells popular sneaker brands such as Adidas and Jordan and believe these styles attract many young men.

“Some college kids don’t have jobs and can come in and buy clothes for a cheaper and still dress nicely,” says Plato’s Closet key holder, Kayla Windsor, business management student at Missouri Southern.

Plato’s Closet is always buying new trends and while they appeal more to teens and young adults, the retailer is not limited to these styles. Plato’s Closet is open Monday to Wednesday from 10am-8pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am-9pm, and Sundays from 12pm-6pm, offering shopping hours for even the busiest shoppers.
