An open letter to Jake Messer and any other students who may feel the same way:

I feel your pain.

I strongly recommend you take a class or two from any one of the several Outstanding Teaching Award-winning professors in the Department of Social Sciences (Anthropology, Geography, History, Political Science, and Sociology).

I assure you that we teach our students.

Our policy is to hire experts in their fields who have a knack for passing that expertise along in the classroom.
