Each fall, the Institute of International Studies selects a country to highlight for the entire semester. This semester the country is Italy.

Numerous films, concerts, artistic and architectural exhibitions, and other cultural and culinary events have been scheduled for students and the community to enjoy free of charge.

International semesters allow students, who are unable to take advantage of the many study-abroad programs available at Missouri Southern, the opportunity to take a virtual, in-depth learning tour of those countries. Some courses even offer extra credit opportunities for attending international campus events as part of the curriculum.
