Team Bower Softball Tournament deadline extended
In October of 2013, brothers Tyler and Eric Bower were involved in a one-vehicle crash at 2525 W. 20th St. in Joplin. The driver, Eric suffered major injuries and was hospitalized at Freeman West Hospital. Tyler, the only passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene.
To raise money for the Bower family’s medical bills, Alpha Sigma Alpha is holding a softball tournament on March 8 and 9 at Carthage Municipal Park.
The cost to enter the tournament is $100 per team and the deadline to enter has been pushed back until Thursday, March 6 at 5:00 p.m.
The men’s tournament will be held on March 8 and the co-ed tournament will be held March 9 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
