Wellness Expo arrives on campus

Missouri Southern is hosting the Fifth Annual Wellness Faculty/Staff/Retiree Health Benefits Fair on Wednesday, March 12.

The event will kick off with a hot breakfast buffet for participants, along with the opportunity to create free Make & Take first aid kits.

Free chair massages and three-minute aqua massages will be available throughout the day in the Beimdiek Recreation Center (BRC). Chair massages will run from 7-10 a.m. and aqua massages from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.

In addition, on-site Rec Center/ Pool & Racquetball Registration, group exercise class demonstrations and door prizes will be available.

From 2-4 p.m., basic micro-fit assessments checking blood pressure, weight, BMI, bicep strength and back flexibility will be offered on the first floor of the Billingsly Student Center.

Mammograms will be offered by the Mercy Mobile Mammography unit, but women must contact Mercy to sign up beforehand.

The BRC and MSSU Aquatics and Racquetball Center will be open to all until 7 p.m.
