Sophomores Vincent Kiprop and Luke Johnson embrace each other after the race at the Southern Stampede on the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course on Sept. 19, 2015. That was Kiprop’s first collegiate race as he went on to finish in first place with a time of 24:15.96. Johnson placed in 194th place.
