The MSSU campus community has an opportunity before the Thanksgiving Break to enjoy a bit of relaxing crafts and delicious tea with Spiva Library during their monthly “CraftTEA” event. The November edition is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 19, from noon to 1 p.m, in front of the fireplace on the third floor of Spiva Library.
The event is part of a monthly series the Staff Welfare committee is doing in conjunction with the library.
“The next one will have a fall theme,” Tara Schneider, one of the event’s organizers, said. “All are welcome to this event!”
Schneider also clarified what attendees should bring. “Participants will need to bring their own craft to work on,” she stated, adding that “the library will provide tea and flavored honey sticks.”
The “CraftTEA” event is a fun and friendly way to relax during the hectic month, according to Schneider, stating that having fun events to relax are crucial to boost school spirit and build a strong community.
“Honestly, I’m just excited for the free tea and honey sticks. It just sounds really cozy and a nice way to relax between classes,” MSSU student Trisha Rajaram said.
“CraftTEA” is held on the third Wednesday of every month. For more information, contact the Spiva Library at 417-625-9362, or via text at 417-720-2079. The library can also be contacted by email at [email protected].
