12:45 p.m.

A Department of Public Safety officer was contacted in regards to a damaged vehicle. The vehicle’s owner said the damage had occurred to the front passenger side door. There was a dent in front of the handle and was possibly caused by another vehicle.

8:50 p.m.

A DPS officer was called to the Spiva Library in reference to an open safe. A custodian had been cleaning the University Java Shop and found the safe open. The officer checked the safe and found a bag of money in it. The money was taken for safe-keeping by the supervisor of the shop.

Information/Ambulance

6:45 p.m.

While on patrol, a DPS officer observed an ambulance coming onto campus. It had stopped behind Young Gymnasium. There, the officer found a student lying on a bench beside the pool. She was complaining of a pain in her leg and the leg was purple. She had not been injured in the pool, but had experienced a cramp while standing outside of the pool. The Metro Ambulance had been called to the scene and the student was transported to St. John’s Hospital.

A DPS officer was called to lot 26 in reference to a damaged vehicle. There, a student reported the mirror on her car had been damaged. She said the damaged had been done in another parking lot earlier in the week. The mirror on the passenger door had been cracked where the mirror had been hit. The student had no suspects at the time.

Sick Person

8:30 a.m.

A DPS officer was dispatched to Reynolds Hall where he found a student sitting on a bench. The student said she had become ill and passed out during her class. She said she had been sick earlier in the week. She was not injured when she passed out. She was transported to the nurse’s office for treatment.
