Injured Person

7:75 p.m.

A Department of Public Safety officer was contacted to Young Gymnasium in reference to an injured person. Two students were playing racquetball when one of the students accidentally hit the other in the nose with his racquet. The student’s nose was bleeding and possibly broken. The first student said he would take the other to a hospital.

Theft

2/1/2006

Noon

DPS was contacted by a student to report a theft. The student said he had parked his vehicle in lot 39 around noon. He returned to the vehicle around 3 p.m. and found someone had stolen his green Adidas bag containing his education portfolio, workout clothes and tennis shoes. He said the thief had gained entrance through a zippered top.

Vehicle Accident

9:30 p.m.

Two vehicles were parked in lot 25. The first vehicle had been left in neutral and rolled backward 30 feet. It struck the second vehicle on the front passenger-side bumper. The owners of the vehicles were not present at the time of the incident. The owner of the second vehicle is the one who discovered the damage and the vehicles together.

Property Destruction

12:45 p.m.

A DPS officer was called to lot 14 in reference to a damaged vehicle. The damage was done to the passenger-side door just in front of the handle. The damage was possibly done by another vehicle’s door.
