For a current band worth checking out, look no further than Vagrant Records’ rising artist, Senses Fail.

The band is currently touring the globe headlining with some hard-hitting names like Alexisonfire. Both bands are guaranteed to put on a show of face-melting and head-bang worthy tracks.

Senses Fail unleashes new sounds of inspiration from influences such as Finch, My Chemical Romance and Jimmy Eat World. The band is set to play more than 50 concerts in 2007 to promote their new album, Still Searching, including their two hit songs “Calling All Cars” and “Can’t Be Saved.” The songs combine metal with soothing melodies to create a five-star worthy album.

Alexisonfire is a new rising artist, also from Vagrant Records, with heart-pounding guitars and mind-blowing drum beats, to dark, inspiring poetic lyrics. This is a band that is rapidly on the rise. With their new album Crisis, the band will soon make their name well-known. Great talent and good music is what you can expect from Alexisonfire.

Both bands are touring all the way from London to the coast of California, including at least five shows in the four-state area. All residents of the Joplin area will catch a break when the band plays Feb. 1 at The Foundry. The concert is sponsored by The Bridge.
