The Missouri Southern men’s and women’s basketball programs will host their annual Meet the Lions Night on Monday at the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center.

Maryann Mitts’ women’s team is coming off an 18-10 record and returns three starters from a year ago, five seniors from last year’s squad and seven seniors overall.

Robert Corn’s men’s team returns three starters, as well, from a team that finished 17-11 last season and had it’s 10th straight appearance in the MIAA Tournament.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with free hot dogs and Pepsi products, as well as a pumpkin patch for children that wish to decorate a pumpkin. Schedule cards and team posters will also be available for free at that time.

Both teams will scrimmage and take place in various contests. Players will be available for autographs while the other team scrimmages.

Admission is free.
