Sorority Zeta Tau Alpha held an “Open Mic Night” from 7-10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22.

“It brings in a lot of people on campus and it’s a lot of fun,” said Bailey Busby, ZTA vice president 2 and new member coordinator.

This year marks the fourth annual “Open Mic Night” the group has held.

Tuesday night raised $960 for breast cancer awareness and education, Busby said.

During the past two weeks, the sorority’s MSSU chapter has raised $1,610. The proceeds will support the Susan G. Komen foundation.

“It all goes to a good cause,” Busby said. “We don’t profit from this.”
