Saying goodbye to the ‘Fab Five’

The Chart’s “Fab Five”

This semester marks the end of The Chart careers of some major contributors.

The paper will soon say goodye to five people who have guided it through some challenging times: Brennan Stebbins, Luke Taylor, Alexandra Nicolas, Nathan Carter and T.R. Hanrahan.

Stebbins had his name called regularly for state and national writing awards and was the 2011 Missouri College Media Association Journalist of the Year.

Taylor was a finalist for that award in 2009. He joined the staff that fall and has been an incredible and versatile performer with dazzling technical skills.

Nicolas has been with The Chart ever since her first semester of college. She has served as its editor-in-chief, Capitol intern and most recently as something of a consultant and design coach.

Nathan Carter has been with the paper since he began college, as well. He has covered the arts, news and has even become an award-winning photographer along the way.

Hanrahan you have heard about, no doubt. For five years, he has lived apart from his wife for most of the week. He has stayed to the bitter end on most production nights while other faculty were fast asleep.

The Fab Five will be missed.
