Homecoming events will culminate tomorrow in a halftime crowning ceremony at the 2 p.m. football game. The events began Monday and have continued every day this week
The theme for homecoming events was “Hollywood.”
Monday night from 8 to 11 p.m. in the Billingsly Student Center, a casino night, themed “Old Hollywood,” was held.
The night featured 12 casino table games and giveaway prizes, including DVD box sets and a TV.
Tuesday brought a five-team laser tag game on the oval from 7 to 10 p.m.
Wednesday night was comedy night in Taylor Auditorium, beginning at 7 p.m. The show featured the Upright Citizens Brigade.
Other activities this week included free hair extensions in BSC on Thursday at 8 p.m. and a ‘murder mystery dinner’ served in Billingsly ballroom.
The dinner involved a murder and invited students to solve the mystery.
A homecoming picnic begins today at 11 a.m.
The picnic will have free food, T-shirts and a pep rally, among other events.
The homecoming king and queen will be announced at the picnic on the Oval today.
King finalists are Kyle Buzzard, Sigma Pi; Austin Lepper, K-Club; James Mercer, residence halls association; TJ Steen, Kappa Alpha Order; and Jeremy Thomas, CAB.
Queen finalists are Katie Bromley, Alpha Sigma Alpha; Jordan Cheeseman, student-alumni association; Samantha Evans, residence halls association; Mallory Roberson, Zeta Tau Alpha; and Kimmy Simpson, CAB.
