Justin Bieber’s tweets

Dear Justin Bieber,

This is what I—and the rest of the sane world—have to say about you putting your feelings on blast via Twitter on Wednesday.

First off, please work on your grammar and punctuation. We know the majority of your fans are 12-year-old girls, but even they know that “I” is capitalized and that contractions have apostrophes.

Now, back to business. In your first tweet you wrote “rumors rumors and more rumors. nothing more nothing less. might talk about them 1 day. rt now im just gonna be positive. cant bring me down”. That one incredibly difficult to read tweet would have sufficed in place of the next 11 that you unnecessarily poured every insecure ounce of your soul into. But, no that would be too simple.

Instead, you continued to go on and on and to describe specific rumors supposedly being spread about you, bash the newspapers and reassure your fans that all of this “cant phase me.” As if. We can see that clearly through your 12 emotional rollercoaster slam of tweets.

It should be said that you seemed to have neared your senses toward the end of your rant by saying things like, “I will continue being me” and “Im only judged by one power, and I serve him.” Except, in a previous tweet you contradict the feelings behind these statements by saying, “I understand it is part of the job to be judged …“ If you understood that it was a part of the job, you wouldn’t be so astounded by the negative publicity that you are receiving.

It seems that there is an inevitable breaking point that every celebrity goes through during his or her career whether it’s drugs, affairs or shaving their head it seems that you all do something drastic and appalling at some point in time. I truly hope for your “Beliebers” that this isn’t a taste of yours.

For a young man who has so much success and so many fans in the world who claim that they love you, it seems that you’ve let what shouldn’t matter to you in fact matter to you.

Next time that you are hurt about what you read about yourself in the tabloids, remind yourself that you have 35,519,594 followers on Twitter that don’t want to see you down. Your job is to entertain and to enjoy your fans. Blasting your feelings in such an unprofessional manner was a bold, stupid move.

Think before you Tweet, Biebs.
