Walker breaks a record
Senior pitcher Payton Walker delivering a pitch to the plate on Warren Turner Field on Feb. 12 against Bemidji State. Walker is 3-0 on the season. He’s pitched 22 innings, allowing only two runs off 10 hits in three starts. Walker set the all-time MSSU strikeout record with an 11 strikeout performance against Lindenwood on Feb. 27. He now has 211 career strikeouts, passing Doug Stockham (84-87).
