Perfume salesman harasses on-campus students

Security was notified in regard to a yield sign that had been damaged at the intersection between lot No. 4 and lot No. 6.

No suspects have been reported at this time.

Injured Person

8:00 p.m.

A person was at the back of Spiva Library, walking toward the front of the library, when he slipped and fell on the ice, landing on his right side and injuring his right arm. It was not stated if the subject required medical assistance or not.

Harassment

2:15 p.m.

A student assistant contacted security in regard to a man on the second floor of East Hall who was trying to sell perfume to two students. One of the students stated she felt dizzy and decided to contact an SA.

The man selling the perfume left the scene before security arrived, and the student refused medical attention.

Damaged Property

11:43 a.m.

A student left his running vehicle parked in the half circle drive in front of East Hall and ran into the building. After entering the building, the student’s car jumped out of gear and ran into another car parked in the drive.

Damage included a cracked bumper and several scratches to the paint on both vehicles.
