Volleyball suffers twice, wins one on road tour
Despite a close match with Washburn on Sept. 22, the Lions volleyball team suffered consecutive sweeps.
With losses to Emporia State University on Sept. 24 and Central Missouri State University on Sept. 25, the Lions record moves 5-9, 1-3 in the MIAA.
Missouri Southern bounced back with a 3-2 win in St. Joseph against Missouri Western State College.
The Lions have home games on Oct. 1 against Truman State and Oct. 2 against Northwest.
