Sleeping suspect refuses to awaken

A parked vehicle in Lot #19 came to the attention of security. The occupant of the vehicle was asleep in the passenger side.
An officer attempted to wake the suspect by tapping the window, but the suspect turned over and did not acknowledge the officer.
The officer attempted to wake the subject several times. The officer then called JPD. Upon arrival, JPD removed the suspect from the vehicle after repeated attempts to wake him.
The suspect was later transported to the Joplin City Jail on several warrants for his arrest.
