Domestic Violence

8:30 a.m.

A Department of Public Safety officer was contacted to the North Guest House to stand by a couple who had been involved in domestic violence off campus.

The first subject was a student and was allowed to go to classes. The second was not a student and was advised he was not allowed on campus.

Drug Law Violation

7:30 p.m.

A DPS officer was contacted to East Hall in reference to drugs in a suite.

Upon arrival, the residents of the suspected room agreed to have the room searched.

A resident director found a bag with what appeared to be marijuana in it.JPD was contacted to the scene and one of the residents was taken into custody.

Property Destruction

2/26/2005

2:57 a.m.

While securing a door at East Hall, a DPS officer heard a noise.

He investigated the noise and found a cement bench had been taken from Stone Hall and broken on the sidewalk.

Two suspects had been seen in the area at the time, but no one could be found after the incident.

Ill Student

2/28/2005

9:50 a.m.

An officer was dispatched to the Billingsly Student Center in reference to an ill student.

The student had fainted and refused medical attention. She did go to the nurse’s office.
