Wind blows Porta-Potty over on soccer fields

Injured Person11/9/2005 1:50 p.m.A Department of Public Safety officer was contacted to Webster Hall in reference to a bee sting. When the officer arrived, the student who had been stung said she was allergic and did not have medication for it. The student called a friend to take her to a hospital.

Property Destruction11/10/200510:41 p.m.A custodian reported a thermostat had been ripped off the wall in East Hall near room 223. The damage was estimated at $150.

Property Destruction11/10/200512:55 p.m.A DPS officer was contacted in reference to a broken window. A student said he had been in a confrontation with three white males off campus. After he returned, he parked his vehicle and went to eat. When he returned, he found a rock had been thrown through his rear window. A complaint was filed with the Joplin Police Department.

Information11/13/20058:30 a.m.While a DPS officer was doing building checks, he noticed something out of place on the soccer fields. Upon further inspection, he found the canopies in the field had been uprooted by the wind. A Porta-Potty had been turned on its side as well. No other damage was found on the field.
