Twenty points separated the Missouri Southern’s women’s basketball team from its competition in Kansas City.

Missouri Western State Univerity defeated the Lions 79-59 in their opening match in the MIAA Postseason Tournament.

This brings the Lions’ season to an end.

Robin Kantin, sophomore guard, led Lions’ scoring with 18 points.

Dana-Mae Robbs, junior forward, was next with 14 points. Robbs also had eight rebounds for Southern.
