The game between Truman State and the winless Bearcats of Southwest Baptist will be a battle between the two most productive offensive players in the MIAA. Freshman quarterback Steve Gachette of SBU will lead a Bearcat offense that is much better than the 0-5 record would entail. Gachette is currently averaging 301.8 yards of total offense a game, good for first in the conference.

Meanwhile, Truman will be led by junior signal caller Matt Ticich. Ticich is currently second in the conference in total offense, averaging 285 yards per game. This may not be the most intriguing game of the week in the MIAA but it should be the closest.
