MSSU vs. Central

Missouri Southern travels to Warrnesburg to take on Central Missouri.

Central, who will be celebrating homecoming, are led by senior free safety Kendall Ricketts. Ricketts is the probably the most prepared player in the MIAA for the NFL.

The Lions are led by a stout team defense that shut out Fort Hays State last week. If the offense can match the defense’s performance then Central could be in trouble.

Offensively, the Lions boast two solid runners in Alley Broussard and Renard Johnson along with an All-American wide receiver in Colin Bado.

For Central to win this game, the quarterbacks will need to play mistake free and be effective. Eric Czerniewski has done a good job filling in for graduated Toby Korrodi.

Take Missouri Southern to win a close one and ruin the Mules’ homecoming.
