National Issues Forum to tackle energy problem

Missouri Southern invites all members of the community to attend the 2008 National Issues Forum.

The National Issues Forum was established in 1981. This year’s topic is “The Energy Problem: Choices for an Uncertain Future.” Groups of fewer than 10 people will meet informally at the Spiva Library’s main floor near the fireplace. The groups will read a brief brochure on facts compiled by the Kettering Foundation, a non-partisan organization.

Participation in the forum is free, but members must reserve a date to participate on. The dates are March 11 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., April 2 from 6 – 8 p.m., March 27 from 6 – 8 p.m., April 7 from 6 – 8 p.m., April 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Apr il 8 from 7 – 9 p.m., and April 3 from 3:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m.
